Thank you once again to the community of Petersburg for all of your support! Steppin’ Out Dancers performed a collection of Broadway pieces Monday and Tuesday night. This was such a fun show to be a part of and Petersburg has shown that they truly love Broadway! The students all did an amazing job and lit up the stage with their bigger-than-life characters. We sure look forward to seeing this one on video again and again!
We will be taking a short (and much deserved) break and summer classes will begin in June. More information about those classes coming soon. At this time, there will not be a Summer Dance Camp in August this year as there are too many other occassions this summer for Steppin’ Out teachers and staff. We hope you can join us for summer session and look forward to continuing the Dance Camp in the future.
Thank to you everyone who came to PG-13 this weekend. We hope you enjoyed the performance but even more importantly we hope that you feel inspired. Please talk to your teenager about the issues they are facing and let them know we are all here to help them through it!

We would like to invite you to PG-13; Parental Guidance Requested. This Sunday, Aprill 11 at 1:30pm.
PG-13 is all about brining awarness of teenage issues to the stage through dance. Youth today are dealing with pressure from many different areas including relationships, sexual health, the evironment, drugs and so much more. They are reaching out to our community for guidance and support. Our goal with this production is to encourage parents, family and friends to openly discuss issues like these with the teenagers in the lives.
Please come support us and see this emotional performance Sunday, April 11 at 1:30pm. This show is performed by the high school students of Steppin’ Out Dance on behalf of the Mitkof Dance Troupe. Donations will be accepted at the door and all proceeds go to the Dance Troupe.
Thanks to our family and friends, the Burger Night Fundraiser for Mitkof Dance Troupe was a huge success! We served around 360 burgers in less than 3 hours! We couldn’t have done it without the support of dancers, family and friends and of course the wonderful people of Petesburg! I’ve heard great things from people who really enjoyed their meal!
In other news at Steppin’ Out, we’re getting ready to perform at KFSK’s annual Wearable Art Fundraiser. Please come March 27 to support your dancers and local radio. This year’s theme is “All Shapes and Sizes.” Hope to see you there!
